ABOUT :)

Hello everyone, I Megha Rathi am a Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) registered Clinical Psychologist catering to individuals across all age groups in Kolkata. I also am a certified graphologist and an academician. I pursued my M Phil in Clinical Psychology in 2015 from Institute of Psychiatry, Kolkata and completed my Masters in Applied Psychology with specialization in clinical and forensic psychology in 2013 from University of Calcutta. Currently, I am a PHD Scholar and Guest faculty in Calcutta University.Β

From my observation and experience, I have felt that mental health is a pressing concern but is often neglected due to ignorance or societal stigma. I believe that psychological intervention is a huge step towards improving mental health as it creates an awareness in the patient. Every individual deserves a life where one has power and control to take decisions. I believe in providing a path to my patients and enabling them with the confidence to walk through instead of being their crutch. I aspire to be a support system, their guiding light and simultaneously make them realiseΒ  their inner potential to heal and grow as an induvidual. This belief in oneself, inculcating the incredible feeling of self-sufficiency is what I desire to foster in my patients through my professional endeavour and relentless dedication.Β

For a fact, I know that I am deeply passionate about my work and can selflessly work to bring my best foot forward in advocating the importance of mental health in community at large. I work closely in collaboration with reputed psychiatrists, special educators, occupational therapists and speech therapists to ensure overall and holistic improvement of my each client. To help you get a better understanding of your inner self and nurture yourself holistically, I am here for you!
